  Yes, we use a biodegradable material based on cornstarch for our upgrades. We send prototypes and misproductions for recycling to a specialized company.

With this insert, all essential components of the base game and the expansions fit into the base game box. In addition to the basic game pieces, all multiplayer cards, two scorepads, four player boards, the birdhouse, a birdbath, and the appendices fit into the box. Also included is a practical storage for the eggs and food tokens, which is conveniently accessible from both sides of the player table. Components for solo play and additional boards such as the flat birdbaths are not intended for use (although they might fit or can be swapped for certain appendices).

Holes are built into the bottoms of the individual boxes to easily push out the elements with a finger. The card holders offer space for cards with sleeves (up to 100 microns) and also have enough room for potential future expansion cards.
